Our Founders \ Danny Kelly

Danny Kelly graduated from the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan, Kansas with a technical degree in Baking Science and Technology, then spent eight years as an industrial plant manager, six years in Germany as an Industrial Process Manager for the US Government, and eighteen years in specialty bakery equipment manufacturing, sales, and service. One area of his expertise is European Industrial Bakery Equipment—the tools bakers need to produce artisan-quality breads. (Another area of Danny’s expertise is Harley Davidson motorcycles and the people who ride them, but that’s another profile!)

When Danny first met George, Carsten, and Klaus, it was to help them set up the bakery for Dr. Kracker in Dallas. He was so impressed with the trio’s vision, passion, and experience, he wanted to become a part of the team. And he did.

Danny lives in San Antonio, where, with his sons Jim and Randy, he runs European Process Concepts Limited, an organization that helps companies set up bakery crews, project engineers, and production equipment.

He proudly represents Dr. Kracker at every Harley Rally in Texas (you’d be surprised how many Harley riders are happy to find a good spelt flatbread!)

His favorite Kracker is the Pumpkin Seed Cheese.
