Ingredients \ White Wheat
White wheat is a relatively new wheat variety that is becoming more and more popular. White wheat has great baking characteristics and a lovely flavor. Just as corn has white, blue or red varieties, so there are differences in the color of wheat kernels. Cereal breeders discovered that the white wheat does not have the same bitter flavor found in red wheats. This means that whole grain flour made from white wheats has an almost sweet flavor and from it, whole grain breads can be baked without the addition of sweeteners.
Our Klassic 3 Seed flatbread is now made from whole grain white wheat, and our Pumpkin Seed is made from a mix of white wheat and regular bread wheat.
